This week’s reading comes from a place of fairly steady, just-trucking-along energy as we head into the last part of 2022.
One concept that popped up for me as I shuffled today’s cards was:
“What am I afraid to release for fear that nothing else will come to take its place?”
There’s a lot going on in that idea, but I felt like sharing it with you as you jump into this week’s reading. And in that “funny-but-I-knew-it” kind of way, the cards reflected back exactly the right messages.

Ace of Pentacles
This is a lovely opportunity to attract abundance into your life. The Ace of Pentacles is all about physical world opportunities, like your home, finances, body, or career.
This card is a reminder to pay attention to ways that you might be able to grow and enjoy the fruits of the world.
Perhaps it’s saying yes to a retreat, a dinner invitation, or job opportunity. Maybe it’s finally saying no to the same thing if it doesn’t feel right.
This card is all about making room for abundance, whether by going for it or setting boundaries so there is more room for what’s right to come your way.

The Full Moon
Here she is again, following an actual astrological full moon last week. This is a wonderful reminder—especially at this time of year—to close any open cycles, projects, or energy loops you’ve left open.
What does that look like?
It might be releasing what isn’t serving you…for a literal example of this energy, it’s like finally tossing out those clothes that you think you’ll wear but you NEVER actually do. Why do we do that?
This is the time to make more space by wrapping up what needs to be completed or discarding it altogether.
Whether it’s clothing or big ideas, work projects or house projects, emotional baggage or physical toxins, it’s time to shed the extra stuff. We use up a tremendous amount of valuable energy carting around what we don’t need.
So take this message as a strong sign that it’s time to shed, shed, shed…then get excited for what’s coming next.

Ten of Cups
This is the BEST way to wrap up a year. Whether this year has been hard or great, the Ten of Cups is all about snuggling into what feels good: close relationships, cozy pet-snuggles, aligned creative projects…
You have so much harmony around you to embrace.
I recognize that it doesn’t always feel this way. If that’s you, this is a reminder to do the powerful inner work of finding these things within yourself. This is a space we always have access to: our divine light.
Ultimately—you’ve heard a million times—the deepest contentment with life starts within.
This is where your best ideas, your most loving self, and that big belly laugh are born. Embrace your external abundance or seek out a renewed relationship with the magic you carry always.
Bring that into the new year and see what happens ;)
