Hi friends,
There is a tremendous amount of energy we are all holding, transmuting, and trying to work with and integrate right now. Most of us are seeking the highest good in our lives, and when big, terrible things happen, it can be difficult to hold our grounding.
I invite you to anchor into the frequency of love now more than ever. It is normal and appropriate to grieve what is happening in the world. I am not suggesting you avoid pain or discomfort, but staying in that frequency for too long does not serve us or others.
You cannot be scared enough to help those who fear for their lives, or sick enough to help the ill, or angry enough to right those wronged. But you can transmute these emotions into kindness and love in your own circle and actions. You can choose to be a pillar of light rather than join in the frenzy that is darkness. Love and truth are the seeds of true shifts in the collective consciousness.
Today’s reading came through as a collective message for everyone who finds this. Normally, Mondays feature a short and sweet pick-a-card reading, but I had a strong call to read for everyone this morning.
I pray this week that you find moments of deep love, connection, and peace, no matter where you are, and that you find a way to offer them to others.
With love,
Natalie

decks: Pagan Otherworlds Tarot & Woodland Wardens Oracle
Foundational energy: The Four of Wands
With the four, we begin the message with homecoming and appreciation. It is the foundation to ground into this week. First, in the swirl of global events, this energy roots you into your home. Your place of nourishment and rest. It invites you to take some time—especially if you’re feeling low from global events—to appreciate, even celebrate, the abundance in your life. To give thanks for your warm shower, soft bed, and clean air.
It is also the seat of homecoming. Returning to the higher Self, the divine guidance we all connect to. In my work, I offer the meditation of a reverse firework:
Take a moment to imagine your energy as a firework, moving in pieces and fractals from your center toward all of the things that need attention in your life: family, work, health, relationships, community, the news, etc.
Now take a deep breath in, slowly through the nose, and imagine the firework in reverse, all of your fractured energy returning to your heart center just for a moment or two. Allow yourself to sit in this wholeness as long as you have the time. Attempt to make decisions from this place. If you are a leader, offer your voice from this place.
This is where we begin.
The Heart of Matters: The Skunk & Magnolia rx + The Spider & Passionflower
The heart of matters is the energy surrounding us this week. The energy to notice and work with. The Skunk represents protection, the ability to defend oneself, and create a space of safety. However, the reversal asks us to notice where we are wearing thick armor:
Where might I be more vulnerable and soft, even in the face of a perceived threat? How might softening my armour help others instead of barricading myself?
Or, perhaps, how might I help protect others who need it?
The spider supports us by representing the light and the dark. The passionflower, faith. Together with our softened armor, it invites us to solve problems with our creativity and ingenuity. With the faith that if we create something from a place of truth and love, it will better the situation and bring light to the world.
These cards want to remind everyone not to feel small and lost offering light. You are all powerful beings, and the choice to offer your light as a solution and comfort and support is never small.
“Man did not weave the web of life; he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.” -Chief Seattle
Supportive energies: The Ace of Swords & Knight of Wands
The supportive energies are available to help move through this time, to take action, to follow through. And they are incredibly powerful supports, at that.
The Ace of Swords invites new channels for the spark of big ideas, clarity, and truth. It supports uncovering new plans and ideas at this time, ways to work with the energies above in clear, even obvious ways. Ask to connect with this energy if you’re seeking the best way to show up, support, and offer love.
The Knight of Wands is the element of fire. It is here to help move things forward with rapid, passionate energy. It’s a reminder to tap into where your own fire is burning to ask for guidance around how this can be shared in the world for the good of all.

Lovely insights, Natalie! Thanks for sharing. I’m a card-maker of a deck that’s designed for personal growth and artistic development and this year we’re celebrating 25 years since it’s inception in Japan. I think you might like the Genesis cards as their messages and the images are expressed with love and through a lens of positivity.
