Hi friends,
This week’s reading came from a deep place of listening. This is a powerful deck. The artwork reveals something new the longer you spend time with it. I used to use it all the time, and whenever I return, I feel grounded.
It has one of those magical backstories where I bought this in Sedona after an incredible collaborative project…that’s probably all you need to know, haha.
As always, there is a lot going on in the world, as well as a lot to appreciate.
What do you need to take a closer look at?
Take a breath. Open your heart. Pick a card below.

Self Esteem
This card asks us to notice where we might be shrinking our light because we’re worried about how we’ll be perceived by others.
This shows up as withholding the sharing of your truth, artwork, or opinions with others.
Self esteem is the sister of self love. They are both powerful energies to navigate and embody, because when we do, we are unstoppable and in integrity at the same time.
Spend some time noticing where you are holding back because of the perceived response by others. Ask yourself why those viewpoints (viewpoints you’re making up, btw) hold so much power.
Here’s an example for you: When I first started sharing more tarot content on social media, there were two random people from my past that popped into my head and made me ask, “What will they think?”
Weirdly, these are people I don’t speak to often at all, but for some reason, their conjured presence in my imagination had enough power to keep me quiet until I decided to change my perspective.
The stories we write in our minds become our lives.

Medicine Power
“Don’t be fooled by medicine just because it seems small to your ego, the ant is a very powerful medicine.”
This card is powerful and asks you to open your field up to subtle signs, omens, and lessons. There is always something speaking to you and through you to help you on your journey here on earth.
But you must be willing to listen without ego-editing and remain open to whatever presents itself. There is medicine all around you.
Perhaps it’s from nature, like a visiting bird, or as the guidebook mentions, an ant. Maybe this ant is on your desk at work.
What is the instinct when you see it? Why?
What can you learn from allowing Ant to take up space in your world for a moment?
Open up and pay close attention this week. Sit with what arrives and go deeper than just the surface.

Fear
Fear pushes us toward safe or numb places: not taking risks, numbing out, making the same choice even if it’s not in our best interest.
Fear is a powerful teacher. It is a necessary polarity in our universe, one that we tend to run away from rather than step into.
What would happen if you sat with Fear the next time it visits?
Ask it what it would like you to know. Listen carefully to what comes up.
“When staying present with fear, it becomes a means for transformation.”
Notice what you’re afraid of. Hold space for it. Dance with it a little while.
This card is not a bad omen, but rather, a gift.
Thanks so much for offering us this wonderful gift! The card was meaningful to me...This is my first time meeting you! (I love Sedona)
