If you’d like to support for as little as a latte a month ($5), you can:
This month we’re moving toward a thinner veil and a hibernation.
Today’s cards offer you some things to consider as you move into this new season and space.
How do you want to use this time? Regeneration? Rebirth? Release? Reclamation?

Four of Swords, reversed & Seahorse
As the cards sometimes do, this pair insists on reminding you that it is time to make room for REST.
This doesn’t necessarily mean going to bed early so you get more sleep (although, do that!), but it can encompass so many other areas of life:
-take a few minutes to breathe if you’re stressed
-sit or walk in nature without distraction (no phone!)
-meditate or simply focus on presence wherever you are
-nap
-make a cup of tea and pay attention to the ceremony of the whole process
-move slowly with intention
-take a long bath or shower
There are plenty of ways in a busy day to take a moment to rest.
This is also a great time for contemplation without all of the external stimuli having a say.
What is rolling around in your noodle that you haven’t quite resolved? Or perhaps it’s something you keep batting away and ignoring…why?
Explore rest this week and see if you can find one or more of its many gifts.
two
King of Cups & Dolphin
There are two sides to every story.
If you find yourself having conflicts with others lately—or even just feeling a little off—remember that they may not see things the same way you do.
In fact, it’s almost sure they don’t.
The King of Cups is that part of ourselves that is deeply compassionate and diplomatic.
It’s time to put more energy into hearing out the other and having grace for their situation, even if you perceive them to be “wrong”…and they might be.
But true compassion is rooted outside of any ego bruising that might occur.
This is NOT to bypass processing hurt or wrongdoing by someone else, that is very important.
But this is instead a reminder that while you may not have the power to control what happens to you by others, you ALWAYS have control over how you react and move forward.
There is a thread of forgiveness emerging in these energies that wants to be tugged forth.
three
Ten of Swords, reversed & Swan
Okay, what’s under there?
This isn’t always the most pleasant work, I suppose that’s why it’s called work.
The Ten of Swords reversed and Swan together are pointing to that part of you that is resisting some kind of change or ending to a cycle.
Why is that the case?
What are the habits and mechanisms you’re using to avoid this inevitable shift?
This is about going deep, deep, deep and working to uncover the root of the fear that you’re harboring. It’s also a careful look at the habits and choices in your life that are conscious (or unconscious) reactions to this fear.
It can be choices you make to avoid feeling this discomfort like drinking, eating poor food, and other ways to numb out.
It might also be choices you avoid that can be helpful like exercise or a proper bedtime.
It’s okay if this hurts a little. But moving this energy, looking at it, and really accepting that it’s there is the first step in better health and wellness for you down the road.
Ask for help if you need it. Journal. Cry. Whatever.
We all carry fear and it is worth the work and time to release its hold. xo
