As much as you want to speak you mind, or tell your friends and family your latest personal drama, this is a reminder to take a step back from sharing.
There is nothing wrong with speaking up or sharing your thoughts, but this message has found you because you’re currently out of balance when it comes to how much listening vs speaking you’re doing.
Listening is not a passive thing. It takes patience, presence, and thought. Just because you’re quiet and let someone else talk, doesn’t mean you’re actively listening.
Try holding space for someone in your life with the pure intention of hearing them out without judgement or trying to problem solve. Really listen to what they are saying.
Pay attention to how powerful it is to step into the listener’s shoes and the incredible insights it will bring into your life.
