Connecting with a thinner veil
Plus a VERY old, yet new, tarot deck 🍁
Welcome to the final week of October, one of my favorites.
It’s a time that is recognized in many traditions as a ‘thinning of the veil’ between the Earthly plane and Spirit realm. Celebrations include Día de los Muertos, Samhain, Halloween, and others.
Today’s reading features a VERY old, yet new to me, deck: The Sola Busca Tarot
“The Sola Busca tarot is the earliest completely extant example of a 78-card tarot deck. It is also the earliest tarot deck in which all the plain suit cards are illustrated.[1][2] The deck was created by an unknown artist and engraved onto metal in the late 15th century. A single complete hand-painted deck is known to exist.”
Exciting! Well, kind of.
This deck found me almost a year ago, and I have yet to really connect with it. Until today. After sitting in meditation before drawing cards for today’s reading, I felt a huge pull to feature this deck. And considering it’s history and the time of year, I listened.
Connect with the other side today.
So, wherever you’re at, if you’re reading this today, it’s time to listen for messages from those who have gone before you. They are much clearer, louder and present right now.

One
The Lovers & Eight of Coins
This message is all about your external efforts in work and responsibility, as well as your partnerships. This doesn’t have to be a romantic partner, though it may be.
The Eight of Coins is a message that you’re on the right path regarding any work or projects in your life. This is likely something you’ve started already, not just thought about.
It’s a very important week to pay attention to new people that may come into your life and help move things farther along. Conversely, if there is any tension or lack of progress caused by someone you’re working closely with, now is the time to communicate your needs clearly. You may even consider that this person isn’t a good fit for the project.
Take time to connect with the fruits of your labor. This is the physical stuff you’ve manifested in your life: job, money, home, and other things that are a result of grounded, focused effort.
If you’re not sure how to handle the partnership in question, call in your guides for some advice. Listen for messages and remember, the veil is thin. It is the best time of year for support from the other side.

Seven of Coins & Nine of Pentacles
Oh my, this group is definitely working though some money and manifesting. The Coins/Pentacles are technically the same suit, and refer to areas of work, material gains, and of course, money.
This is a strong sign to pay attention to this area of your life.
Because Pentacles are associated with Earth elements, this double down on the same suit suggests that grounding—both in your work and decisions—is really important right now. This means taking time to make important decisions, and making sure to clear your energy with something like meditation before moving forward.
The excellent news:
The Seven typically points to financial stability and long term gains. It’s a good omen to invest, if that’s available to you. And then, boom! The nine is a massively abundant card. It represents luxury, and deep material steadiness.
So, keep a positive mindset. Make grounded choices. And listen beyond the veil this week for more ways to usher in your wealth.

Two of Coins & Eight of Cups, reversed
Okay, group three, listen up: you need to make a decision about something. This is related to your work and or material needs. It’s something—like a job or selling a home—that’s been wobbling around in your mind for far too long.
You’re trapping energy and time in this period of indecision. It’s also a cause of suffering for you. Most of the time we spend in indecision is.
The good news is that you’re deeply supported at this time by the Spirit realm. It’s a beautiful time to ask for guidance and then listen.
You may be telling yourself, “Just one more day. Or week. Or year,” but your procrastination is holding up your life.
It’s time to tap into your inner wisdom and the energetic guidance that is always available to you and make a choice. Remember, as Abraham Hicks often reminds us, “You can’t get it wrong.”
