The simple lesson here is to remember that the darkness is rife with beauty, too. Do not fear the shadows and the monsters within.
They are born of their own beauty, the beauty that lives in shape and form and emotion, and all of the ethereal experiences light rarely plays with for long.
Invite the light to shine into your corners and caverns of grief, ask it what it can show you, or perhaps, what you are avoiding a closer look at.
It will not let you down or lead you astray, for the light is truth.
If you allow it to show you what is hiding within, you may begin to nurture a new relationship with yourself. From there, watch as all flourishes.
