I’m back from Palm Springs where I had the incredible honor to offer readings to an amazing crew of fellow family photographers. Combining two worlds—two of my favorite things—was a definite gift.
We laughed, cried, and I did my best to hold space. It was deeply moving and a whirlwind, something I hope to do more of if I’m lucky.
It’s a wild, almost surreal experience, to see my own energy directly manifested into something I wanted.
A reminder, reader, that you are powerful and can do great things.
This week we welcome Spring! Yay!
This is a wonderful time to reassess, shake out the winter cobwebs, and move your energy into creating something new.
xo,
Natalie

Pneuma/breath & The Tower, reversed
“If alchemy is the merging of physical and mystical, then this card serves as our ever-reliant bridge.” -Wild Unknown Alchemy
There are some big, seasonal energies you may want to consider here. A message to return to throughout this spring, and perhaps longer.
Your breath is a foundational pillar of life, stability, health, and so much more. It is the body’s best-kept secret, your stabilizer. It can be calming, cleansing, energizing, or even bring you to extreme altered states of consciousness via holotropic breathwork.
If you’re interested in learning more about the healing, life-altering power we all possess, I highly recommend the book Breath, by James Nestor.
Because the Tower reversed asks you to examine your fears around change, it goes without saying that a consistent breathing practice will help.
What are you afraid of stepping into?
What might you be able to try, even if it is a little scary?
Stepping into this place often feels heavy and lonely. Rely on your body’s ability to regulate by initiating a deep, slow breathing process when things feel hectic or you sense fear creeping in.
Your breath is a tremendous weapon against fear. Explore it.
two
Acetum/Vinegar & The Wheel of Fortune, reversed
“It is likely something from the past is showing up demanding our attention.”
-Wild Unknown Alchemy
It’s incredible how these pairings find each other, as if they somehow know it’s the best way to communicate a needed message. There are some big, seasonal energies you may want to consider here.
The Wheel of Fortune reversed asks you examine a cycle in your life that you’re hanging onto, but has run its course. A job, relationship, habit, friendship, etc. the Wheel reversed suggests gently, yet firmly: it’s time.
The essence of vinegar reminds you that a little goes a long way. This tang is easy to spot, and works as a beautiful metaphor to help you to locate just the place in your psyche that may be a sour note. Begin there.
Be kind with yourself, but also ask, “What is sour that I’m hanging onto, and why?
Why have I been agreeing to this cycle day after day and not addressing it?”
Step by step—perhaps with a journal or therapist—this is a message to begin uncovering your sour spot and start breaking this cycle.
three
Fumus/Smoke & The Hermit, reversed
“Such is the nature of the smoke card. When present, the senses are aroused and enticed, yet the warning of fire cannot be ignored.” -Wild Unknown Alchemy
This pairing in time for spring’s arrival is so beautiful for you. There are some big, seasonal energies you may want to consider here and revisit over the next weeks.
This is a loud, but kind call to clear the air.
Because the Hermit reversed is a sign of withdrawl, lonliness, and even isolation, it’s time to ask yourself what you’ve been hiding from.
Are you needing to clear the air with a person in your life?
Or perhaps is there a knowing that you must face within yourself in some way?
Spring’s vibrancy is here to support you. Tap into the incredible cleansing that is available to you this time of year. The sheer volume of explosive power this time of year is staggering. Tap into that.
It’s time to address this issue, clear the air, and welcome in something new and fresh.
Imagine how cleansing that air will feel once you’ve moved through this process.
It’s time. You can do this.
