For some of us, this week will include gathering…and food. For others, it’s just another week. And for certain folks, this time of year can feel deeply isolating and lonely.
No matter where you’re at, the message that comes through strongest to share is: remember kindness.
If you already feel stressed about seeing certain relatives—or being along—find ways to reconnect with your physical body in nourishing ways. A long bath. Sleeping in. More water. Extra movement. Singing a song. Crying. Laughing. Thoughtful meals.
My intention this week is that the cards offer you support for whatever energy you’re working with.
As a reminder, if you’d like deeper, one-on-one support, I have a few tarot slots open between now and the end of the year. It’s a great gift idea, too :)
Cheers,
Natalie

Whistle in the Wind
Even for the skeptic, this card’s advice is still worth a try. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, right?
Is there an area in your life where you are avoiding an ask? Big or small, no matter. Align and get clear on what you need, then ask.
It’s also exciting to notice what you’ll find on your path after asking. Things might not seem related, but if you look carefully, all of it is.
Ask. Then listen.

Your Heart is Home
This is a wonderful reminder to move toward what’s calling you. Whether a whisper or scream, we are all pushed and pulled through this life with input and messages and gut feelings.
It’s important for you, Card Number Two Reader, that if you’re feeling stuck, you remember to just decide.
We suffer the most when we’re undecided. We use up SO much energy worrying about making a mistake, energy that might better be used elsewhere.
Decisions bring relief. You may decide, learn some things, then realize you’d like to move in a different direction after all. But that’s okay.
Trust that there isn’t a right or wrong.
Then choose.

Nature Spirits
It’s a really, really easy time of year to detach from nature and get caught in Tropical Storm Holidays. Gatherings. Cold weather. Parties. All of it can quietly distract you from a deeper connection.
In fact, our sense of holiday exhaustion comes directly from the many additional demands on our schedules and bodies, combined with less nourishment when we actually need more.
Find a way to connect with Nature in the days ahead (or always!) with a simple practice that works for you.
For me this week, it’s watching the gathering of birds, squirrels, and rabbits in my yard eat the snacks I toss out for them. So simple, yet powerful.
