People often ask, “How many decks do you have?”
A few, haha. But I don’t collect them for collecting’s sake.
When I am gifted a deck, or purchase one, I like to do my best to get to know it and actually use it.
The thing about oracle decks is they are all different. Whereas I’m drawn to Rider-Waite-Smith-based tarot decks, as it’s the system I use. More on that another time.
I have around 25 oracle decks, and a dozen RWS-based tarot decks.
Today’s oracle is brand new, and feels like home. I mean, woodland animals + plants? The best. I don’t know how I didn’t find Woodland Wardens earlier.
I’ll be adding in the Uusi Pagan Otherworlds Tarot, too. So pretty together!
I hope these messages find you happy and well.
xo,
Natalie

one
Four of Wands, reversed & The Hound + Pear {loyalty}
This is a reminder to celebrate any private, inner victories you’ve achieved.
It’s not about a massive goal, necessarily, but any progress you’ve made on your journey.
It’s about being loyal…to you!
Perhaps you’ve worked on being a better listener, or you’re actually going to bed at a decent time, or you’ve made progress working on a craft or project. The big goals count, too, but sometimes the little things need recognition.
If you’re struggling to identify something, that’s okay.
What can you implement in your life this week that you’ll be happy to celebrate down the road?
two
Eight of Swords, reversed & The Spider + Passionflower {creative ingenuity}
When is the last time you tapped into your own wellspring of creativity…and without judgement?
We are human, which means we are prone to habits of negative self-talk and limiting beliefs about what we’re capable of.
Perhaps there’s something creative you’ve always wanted to learn: how to paint, play an instrument, knit, cook, etc.
What happens when you revisit that desire? Do you talk yourself out of it?
This week, notice how you’re getting in your own way when it comes to having more fun in your life. There are NO rules when it comes to creativity. Just you and what comes through you.
Let yourself try that thing, and have some fun. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t feel “good” at it right away. You’ll get better.
Like this tarot practice for me: I wasn’t very good at it when I dove in, but it was (and still is) really fun for me. I’m getting better every day, yes.
But the fun is the important part.
three
Five of Pentacles & The Bee + Pomegranate {productivity}
You might be hitting a wall when it comes to your to-do list. Or perhaps you’re in an “if only” mindset, thus you’re at a standstill.
If only I had more help, money, resources, etc.
This is a reminder to have faith in yourself.
As long as you’re aligned with what you’re trying to do (figuring out where to live next, getting a promotion, finishing a project, or wondering how to make your home more cozy, etc) what you need will come to you.
That’s the essence of aligned faith. It works out.
Sometimes you’re taken on a path you might not understand, but after some time, you’ll see the point and lesson. Something just for you.
So keep going. Have faith.
