It’s been SO dry this year in Minnesota, but not today. It’s another day of glorious, cozy rain.
There’s something so satisfying about watching the Earth take a big drink, like watering a really dry houseplant. It’s a felt thing, as if relief is sighing all around you at once.
Moving into autumn, and working with the Equinox, it’s a wonderful time to let what isn’t serving you fall away. There is inherent death all around us this time of year, and it’s that gift that makes room for the rebirth that will follow.
But first some time must pass.
And maybe for you it’s time to let go of something you’ve been hanging onto, and then allowing yourself a little time to integrate this change.
My favorite part about this time of year is that even though most folks don’t really “like” death and winter, I like being reminded that it’s essential. And in that space there are so many treasures.

Today’s reading is a little different.
I really encourage you to sit with the questions posed and journal for a bit. It doesn’t have to be long and complicated, but give yourself some time to work with the cards you choose…
…or perhaps they are choosing you 🤍
