Hello friends!
This week’s deck—The Lightworker Oracle by Alana Fairchild—is one that I vibe with only once in a while. If it feels off to work with a deck, I don’t. And typically, when this deck comes up (I pick a random number to choose decks sometimes), it’s hit or miss.
I have a few decks in my collection that are hot or cold. I’m not really sure why.
I’m sharing this because I sometimes get asked how to choose a deck or if they have to be given as a gift (they don’t), etc. If it feels good energetically and you’re excited to work with it, it’s likely a good deck choice.
When I sit down to do a reading, I think it’s important to feel an aligned energy with the cards.
How?
It’s just a gut feeling. Probably similar to choosing something to wear for the day. Sometimes you’re really into those red hot pants, sometimes you question your shopping skills.
Enjoy,
Natalie

The Heart Transmission
This is a beautiful message to begin your week!
It’s time to connect more deeply with your heart’s center and alignment with love. Love is such a high vibration, and one that never lets you down if you can do this one thing:
Align before acting.
It sounds simple, and can be, but also takes practice when things are challenging.
If you’re in a low-vibe space, don’t get discouraged that you’re not flying on cloud nine, even if you’re trying in earnest. Instead, focus on climbing your emotional ladder one rung at a time.
If you’re feeling super stressed, try and ease that stress just a little. You’ve climbed a rung.
Being aware of your energy—and consciously taking action—will be a practice that, as you improve, will attract more and more goodness to your life.

Initiation by Air
In the Tarot, air is the element of the mind, and the suit of swords.
Like any tool we have, understanding how to use it is super important. Paramount, really.
This card is here to ask you to examine your relationship with your mind and thought patterns. If you find yourself in loop-thinking—going over things that have already happened or may happen over and over and over—it’s best to try and stop this.
Loop thinking about the past is commonly synonymous with depression, while looping about the future is sure way to have a lot of anxiety.
Start by being aware of your mind’s patterns. From there, try to ask yourself what it would look like to surrender what you’re carrying, knowing if it’s past or future it’s out of your hands.

Sixth Ray of Devotion
You have the strength within you to move mountains.
This card is all about recognizing the parts of ourselves that are persistent. The version of you that shows up, whether as a friend, sibling, child, parent, co-worker…whatever.
You have the power to lead by example and give others a little bit of strength, support, or even hope.
Whatever you’re working towards right now, tapping into persistence will be of huge help. It’s the small, daily choices and tasks that add up to something massive over time.
Keep on pushing, you are building great things.
