I always enjoy it when the week and the month start together. There’s something energetically refreshing about it. It helps me to plan the spring cleaning and garden projects I aim to get finished this month.
Speaking of housekeeping, there are a few top-of-the-month new things I’m excited to share with you:
My first Oracle deck is now available for pre-sale!
This project has been years in the making. You know, those projects that you start and come back to later? The ones that, for whatever reason, take some time to take shape.
That was this deck for me.
I’d love your support if you or a friend you know would like a copy!
The shop also has a little more information about the vibe of this deck.
A New Tier + The Cards
While we’re on the theme of spring cleaning, housekeeping, and announcements, one more reminder:
A new support tier is available if you’re interested in working with me 1:1 and supporting this newsletter. It includes everything in the other tiers + a personal card reading & follow-up with me on Zoom.
You can upgrade for as little as $5 a month and get access to our Friday readings, as well as a brand new resource for those looking to learn more tarot: “the cards,” which you can find in the menu if you visit the Capricorn Born site here on Substack
The Cards offers deep dives and definitions of the cards, starting with The Fool
Thanks to all of you who continue to read and support Capricorn Born. Now, on to today’s reading.
xo,

Two of Wands, reversed
This month, you’re encouraged to turn inward.
What are your personal goals?
What lights you up and makes you happy?
What would be the best-case scenario right now?
If you feel like there is a distance between you and what you’re hoping to achieve or experience, this is an invitation to wipe the slate and start fresh (and a perfect time of year to do so, too). 🌱
It is common to get stuck in a routine of doing, and if the results don’t change, it’s likely from a lack of focus or clarity around what you’d like to actually do. It can be hard to map out a way to get there without knowing where you're going.
It’s strange how little we can actually articulate about our perfect outcomes. Often they are vague hopes we carry around.
And that’s okay, but this month, aim for some crystal-clear ideas and desires. What exactly does it look like day to day when this goal is yours?
From there, revisit this clear idea daily. Allow your thoughts and habits to change enough to bring this into being.

King of Pentacles
This month is about embracing (and enjoying!) your abundance and using what you have to help others.
This is likely to be something in your physical world (pentacles is an earth suit connected to the material world) you can offer, such as food, clothing, crafting, books, money, or time.
Making a meal.
A handwritten card.
A donation.
A gift.
It can also take shape in the form of guidance and wisdom. Helping someone see the way.
Remember, perpetuating the cycle of abundance only brings more joy into your own life.
Even if you’re not feeling particularly abundant, sit with this energy of giving from a place of true service and a desire to help someone or make something better.
The right way for you to give and serve will show up. And when you feel that alignment, that’s your sign.

The Sun
This month, the Sun invites you to pay attention to what makes you happy.
There is a lot going on in the world and perhaps in your personal life, too. But this is a reminder that you’re meant to look toward the light for a while. Things will feel a little less heavy as you practice this.
Instead of thinking of it as selfish and ignoring the conflict around you, think of it as a gift to yourself—a recharge.
Make a short list of things that always bring you happiness or a little hit of joy. Some examples might be:
A favorite song.
Snuggling a pet.
A delicious meal.
Morning coffee before everyone else wakes up.
Growing something
A good workout.
Make your list and keep it close this month. Try and find the silver lining, the glass half full, and the bright side as much as you can.
Lean into the light for a little while.
