New moon!
New moons are a wonderful time to focus on new ideas and intentions for the month. You can have a ceremony to welcome this energy or just think about what you’d like to usher in.
Speaking of ushering in new things…my first oracle deck is in hand! I’m delighted with how well it printed. The colors look amazing and the size is perfect.
I’m still finalizing the book that goes with it and will be giving away a set in the next couple of months. Stay tuned and follow along on Instagram to participate in the giveaway!
Why a corporate-themed deck?
That’s a fair question. When I received the idea for this deck, I laughed a little. If you know me at all, then you know that I have never leaned in a corporate direction. I don’t feel comfortable with so many rules and so much structure (or jargon).
Yet, that’s exactly why this deck was born. I wanted to reach folks with little to no exposure to oracle decks—maybe even a straight-up distaste—and try to bridge the gap a bit.
Why?
Because a deck can be incredibly grounding, comforting, and powerful. It’s a tool to help you navigate the archetypes and energy that surround us all. No matter your belief system, level of skepticism, or background, you live in the same swirl of energy fields as I do.
Hope you enjoy this week’s reading as much as I did!

Retirement & Seven of Swords
I can hear Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler wailing, “Life’s a journey, not a destination…”
These two cards work well together and are linked deeply to the energy of betrayal. The good news is that this is a prime reminder—and opportunity—to take stock of where you’re headed.
It’s common to chase something—like life after retirement—only to realize that it was your life, the whole thing up until this point, that was so precious and important.
Are you “living for the weekend” or looking forward to something so much that you’re forgetting to enjoy your life right now? Getting to the end of a long road can often feel like a betrayal, especially when it doesn’t meet the expectations that you’ve built up.
No matter how challenging life might feel right now, make the decision to appreciate what you have and focus on the journey by doing something that brings you joy every single day.
two
Janitor & The Magician, reversed
The Janitor reminds you that you are part of a larger whole. Just because you sometimes feel in the background or a bit of an outsider doesn’t make you any less valuable as a human being.
The Magician is a master of alchemy. But reversed, it’s a call to look at your untapped talents and skills.
Are you selling yourself short because you feel like you aren’t good enough? Perhaps you’re purposely taking a back row instead of letting your talents be seen.
But what if no one sees?
Your task is to work and create and grow by doing things you feel called to do, no matter if anyone ever sees. It is about your relationship with yourself and your skills.
This removes the element of a larger group or an audience and gives you a chance to ask yourself: what would you love to make or do or create no matter if someone is watching or not?
three
Affair & Temperance, reversed
Ooh, lordy.
You’ll know exactly what needs to be looked at here: Where are you imbalanced in your choices?
Perhaps it’s an excess of something that isn’t serving you or a lack. Doesn’t matter. It’s time to step back, fight your impatience to want to feel good in the short term, and take inventory of the whole.
Are you drinking too much? Watching too many late-night shows and not sleeping enough? Taking short-cuts or otherwise being dishonest or deceitful?
It’s time to call in balance. The new moon is a perfect time to make an intentional shift towards aligned and good-for-the-long-term behaviors.
What will you commit to bring back into balance right now?
