I thought I’d have everything organized to share all about the tarot conference I attended this weekend, but of course, I’m still integrating.
I’m also moving this weekend, so things are a little hectic in my personal world for a few more weeks.
I was able to snap this from my reading (for me not by me!) with the talented and lovely V. Readus.
My heart is full from nerding out on all things tarot this weekend.
Today’s deck was a purchase from this weekend, too. Peter and his wife Julie are seriously talented artists and kind, warm people. They have all kinds of amazing art, decks, books, etc.
My biggest takeaway?
Get out of your head and show up in the places you feel called. DON’T overthink it. That’s where your #soulfam lives. And sometimes you meet the best folks in the most unexpected places.

Creative Energy
Peter’s guidebook has a number of ways to work more deeply with the cards, but this one has Spring written all over it.
Let the new growth and energy inspire you to grow into something new. Plant a new plant or join a class or just get outside and see what you might learn.
Make some time to get in touch with your creative self without overthinking it.
Move your body to a song you love. Grab the neighbor kid’s sidewalk chalk and see what you can draw together. Buy something weird at the farmer’s market.
You get. Get outside and enjoy nurturing your creative spirit.

You decide
There are a few extra cards in this deck that are left up to the interpretation of the person who draws them.
Don’t rush past this! It can be surprising what you’ll see…
Take at LEAST a minute and see what this card sparks in your subconscious brain that wants to bubble up.
Don’t judge what comes up, like, “What does that have to do with anything?” Jot down whatever images come to you and carry them with you for a little while.
You’ll be amazed at what comes to the surface when you least expect it.

Trickster
Growing, healing, learning, and just generally being human isn’t always the tidy process we’d like it to be.
It fact, it never is.
It’s important to laugh at—or at least appreciate—the bumps in the road. Your energy is better spent that way, rather than stressing and fussing.
“The thing” is still happening regardless.
See if your new perspective has any lessons in it that you might’ve missed before you smiled about it.
Acceptance and humor are powerful medicines.
Quick Reminder…
