Welcome to the weekend, friends.
Friday’s posts are meant to give you some food for thought over the weekend. Paid subscriptions support these, so thank you all for being here!
the survey
Last Friday I added a survey to this newsletter to get more feedback on how to improve things around here. It’s still accessible if you missed it:
You gave me feedback, and I took it on. The survey winner was a tie between “different spreads to download” and “detailed multi-card readings.”
Today’s reading does both.
Ostara
As I learn more about Pagan and other Earth-centered practices, I feel more inclined to share them. If you're looking for new (well, really old) ways to mark your calendar like I am, consider making some room for Ostara this weekend.
"Ostara, celebrated around the Vernal Equinox, marks a time of balance and renewal. Falling typically between March 19th and 23rd, this festive period symbolizes the arrival of spring, where night and day stand equal, heralding a season of new beginnings, hope, and fresh possibilities. Rooted in ancient traditions, Ostara derives its name from Ēostre, a deity symbolizing fertility and growth. It's a time many embrace for reflection, rejuvenation, and celebrating the burgeoning life and energy that spring brings. Ostara's themes of equilibrium and renewal make it a perfect moment to set intentions for the coming months as we welcome the lengthening days and warmer weather."
the spread
This might be my favorite spread I’ve made yet!
