Hello, and welcome to another reading!
Today’s reading is simple, straightforward, and features the classic Rider-Waiter tarot deck.
If you’re new to Tarot, this deck is considered a foundational depiction of the suits and Major Arcana. It’s a wonderful place to start exploring.
It’s also one of my favorite decks…still. I bought this deck in high school!
What might you need to hear or better understand going into your week ahead?

One
The Devil
The Devil asks you to look at where you are making decisions out of fear. Like buying insurance for everything, are you always thinking in worst-case scenarios?
It’s a good time to take inventory of your choices, and reassess if you’re making them from a space of alignment or fear.
It also carries an energy of locking yourself into investments in the material world. An imbalance when it comes to luxury and material status can pull us farther from our hearts. Maybe it’s time to take a pause from purchases and indulgences for a few days.
There is a balance and duality in all decisions you make. Making choices from a place of love of fear will always serve the greater good. This is especially important during a time in history where so many narratives are deeply fear-driven.
Check-in with your body. You have the answers you need.
two
The Nine of Swords
Even though it feels like you’re really “in it” right now with stress, constant over-thinking, and some big decisions, you’re approaching the end.
This is a wonderful time to find a space of trust—a knowing—that you will get through this.
Look at the year ahead and the year that is almost over and ask yourself what you’d like much less of and much more of.
If you can be specific about the life you’d like to manifest, the easier it will be to make decisions in alignment with that goal. Avoid vague ideas and instead, get crystal clear about what you’d like to see more of.

The Hierophant
This is a beautiful time to seek answers to your questions in established places: books, institutions, mentors.
Perhaps you’ve been going at it alone: just you and Google.
This is a call to invest in your pursuits by turning to experts that can teach you the way.
Whether it’s improving your health or learning to play an instrument, the Hierophant is a strong reminder that you’ll gain a lot from the expertise of others at this time.
