Hello friends,

I had the best synchronicities this weekend, and I wanted to share one with you.

Sometimes, they feel so strong that it’s like an energetic punch. It’s like you know you’re interacting with a force that’s trying to get your attention.

My belief system (currently, always evolving) is rooted in the idea that we all share a collective consciousness. We are fragments (souls) from that consciousness (god, the universe, whatever you prefer) living in physical bodies, experiencing this life on Earth and tasked with learning and evolving, ideally towards more love for ourselves and the whole.

God experiencing itself, so to speak.

This isn’t a lesson in metaphysics or spirituality, though.

What I wanted to share was how exciting it feels to have moments of clear messages from that place.

Skeptics—and to be truly skeptical, it’s important to have an open mind—might find my share to fall under ā€œcoincidenceā€ or something similar. And that’s fine. I feel aligned with the belief that I’m tuning into something, something continually growing and evolving just like us. Something that connects us all, alive or transitioned.

This past weekend, I was journaling and working out some ideas around dedicating more of my time in service to the earth. Right now, this looks like rewilding my mostly giant lawn I inherited into native patches of flowers, plants, and shrubs for a better balance and food supply for all the critters desperately needing more sustainable and supportive habitats.

I don’t have time to explain how, but I was working through this idea and had just arrived at this conclusion:

I will dedicate more of my time and energy in service to the earth.

Right as I read this statement back to myself, a black moth flew into my face, fluttered around a bit, tickling my cheeks, and landed on the window screen nearby. This startled me since I was in the living room and didn’t expect a visitor, but the energetic gut punch was there.

You’re on the right track.

The timing was perfect and felt undeniably obvious. I think that’s the hallmark of a strong synchronicity: you don’t doubt it for a second. You don’t have to search for a meaning or bend the story to fit a wishful idea or connection.

It’s just there.

Right in your face.

Literally, in this case.

I let Little Moth climb on my finger and noticed it was starving, shooting its long probiscus around and around. I mixed some water and honey, and Little Moth ate and ate and ate.

me and Little Moth

It’s not an early spring moth, so it must’ve wintered and hatched in one of my plants that lives on the deck in the summer and lives inside during the winter.

Either way, the connection felt meaningful to me.

And that’s all that really matters. It feels important to you.

Synchronicities are very personal experiences.

From the outside, it’s easy to pull them apart and question them. But when you have one, you know. And it shifts you somehow. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot.

Moth spent the rest of the weekend on window screens and ceilings (it’s too cold here in MN to let it outside yet). I haven’t seen Moth today, but moths don’t have a terribly long lifespan.

I hope it lives out its remaining time in peace among the many plants and flowers here in the house.

If you’re up for it, I’d love to hear in the comments if you’ve had any obvious or powerful synchronicities lately. šŸ¦‹

The Starseed Oracle has been on my shelf for a while. I don’t work with it often, but every time I do, it feels powerful.

Hopefully, you’ll gain a helpful insight or two to kick off another magical week on this planet.

Let’s dive in.
