Pick a card readings are here every Monday.
The first Monday of each month is free & the others are for supporters.

Hey, it’s Monday again.
Here on Substack, like other platforms, you get a wee bio space to squish who you are or what you do into a couple of lines so that complete strangers might like the combo of words you chose and decide to interact with you with a follow or subscription.
That’s a lot of pressure for a couple of sentences.
Mine reads:
Guide for nature nuts & truth seekers. Tarot. Attunement. Integration. Remembering. Wonder. Creator of the Tarot Quest. Keeper of chickens. Learning the old ways.
I realized something kind of important: that’s a lot of stuff, and most of it I don’t really share with all of you. These weekly pick-a-card readings are fun and real—but they’re also just one sliver of the deeper world I want to share with you.
So, where is it?
That’s a great question, and one that hasn’t come up for me until recently when I realized that the depth and breadth of what my soul wants to explore and share with you has been siloed into tarot readings and the very occasional other thing.
It’s a funny thing, being in your own world and realizing that in order to share that world with others, you actually have to share it with others.
In the spirit of sharing what I’m up to and making sense of my bio, I thought I’d share my recently designed and mostly ready-for-the-world site.
Whether it speaks to you or you found a few typos, I’d love to hear from you. I love hearing from you anyways, so comment and reach out and say hello.
Today’s reading features dogs.
Dogs! Aren’t they the best?

Page of Pentacles
Pentacles represent our physical life: our homes, money, skills, jobs, and even our bodies.
The page is a beautiful reminder to embrace learning and curiosity in your physical world. Take it as a hint to keep learning a skill that you’ve been picking at (for me it isn’t new, but it’s continuing to pick at the guitar).
This is also a really great time to keep your eyes peeled for new opportunities at work, or ways to co-create with others.
Say yes to that invitation to network with some like-minded folks, or say yes to yourself by carving out time to explore the thing that’s calling you.
Embracing the page’s energy when it crops up in your life is always an adventure of discovery.

Knight of Wands, reversed
Do you feel a little scattered lately? Like, you’re chasing a little bit of focus, but instead, things feel scattered and hasty?
The Knight of Wands reversed is a gentle reminder to take a minute to assess everything you’re trying to get done.
When things feel “all over the place,” it can keep us in a flustered, non-productive state where precious energy isn’t channeled very effectively.
Getting clear about what you’re trying to get done—as well as taking a nap or walk or break—can do wonders to move your passion and energy in the right direction.

Ace of Pentacles
Always a delightful sign, the Ace of Pentacles represents new opportunities. The pentacles represent things in your physical world, so looking at potential opportunities within your job, finances, home, or self-care routine are all on the table.
Simply put, this is the energy of abundance surfacing in your life.
If you’re not feeling particularly abundant, the Ace reminds you of the power you have to make things happen. It’s also a wonderful reminder to lean into what you already have: a cozy bed, a comfortable home, or maybe even your job.
The Ace means manifestation, so take some time to focus on what you would like to bring into your life.
