Hi, hi, hi! I hope this finds you well and ready for another beautiful autumn week ahead.
I’m keeping it simple today with the Pagan Otherworlds deck.
Before you dive in, take a moment to think about something that you’re feeling like you need to release, or gain more clarity around. This is the season of death in preparation for rebirth, so it’s important to stop carrying anything that isn’t serving you.
Easier said than done, I know.
But you know what needs to be looked at in order to grow. Are you holding onto destructive behaviors or thought patterns? Making decisions from a fear-based place?
This week is about infusing your world with a little bit of life-breath before things move into the calmer, colder, and quieter times of late fall and winter. In order to do this, it may require a little shifting of perspective or stepping outside of your comfort zone.
Have a lovely week 🍁

One
The Empress, reversed
No matter how you identify in your human body, the energy of the Empress is deeply feminine, symbolizing her ability to create—both art and life—and a strong connection to nature and gifts of the Earth.
If you encounter the Empress in your own life, she typically shows up as a confident, nurturing vibe who is embodies creativity and creation. This might be your own way of being, or someone in your life.
However, in the reversed form, she is here to support you in connecting with internal nurturing, otherwise known as Self Care. Rather than giving your gracious energy to others, squeeze in a bit more—or a lot more—time for you.
If self care feel balanced for you right now, you may be better supported in giving some time to your creative pursuits if they feel stifled. Creative blocks are energetic, so a simple change of scenery can help. Anything from discovering a new park, listening to new music, or trying things you’ve never tried before at the grocery store…the Empress and her energy can help you feel reenergized.
Two
Page of Swords
This is a beautiful time to connect with your own Page of Swords side. This energy shows up as curiosity, eagerness to learn and explore new ideas, and participating or listening to new points of view.
So if those vibes are tugging at you, embrace them!
It’s a brilliant time of year to dig into some fresh learning. Try out a new podcast, or read a book that challenges how you think and feel.
It’s so easy to get stuck in our own ways of thinking about our worldview, and the Page is here to nudge you in the direction of something different.
This is how you grow.
It’s also useful energetic support if you need to hold space for a challenging person in your life. Try listening more deeply and practice being open to possibly being wrong.
Three
Six of Cups
What a lovely card design! Another reason to adore this deck.
This card is about joyful reflection. It’s not “living in the past” but instead taking time to journal or reflect mindfully on where you came from. Even if it’s been a hard road, there are always points of light and abundance that helped you get this far.
What can you look back on and smile about? Can you physically experience or feel the super-charged vibes of appreciation for all of it?
Appreciation is a powerful, sea-parting kind of energy. If you can walk with a full cup and embrace the whole picture of your past, things will begin to flow.
Release the darker chapters with gratitude for the lessons you’ve learned and an understanding that mistakes are a healthy part of life. You can choose to feel whole and joyful…right…now.
