There are so many ways to do this, but likely you already recognize where you’ve been hard on yourself.
This doesn’t have to be a leap into total bliss and positivity, just one small step up from where you are. It might be recognizing a pattern of negative self-talk, or passing on that third drink if you’ve been out a lot.
Whatever the reason or season, take a moment to tell yourself: I love you.

When do things feel great and seem to go well? If you take your morning walk? When you text your friends something funny to say hello? Snuggling your pet?
When do things feel kinda poopy? After too much indulgence? Not enough fresh air? Lack of time in nature?
This is a note to recognize the subtle—or not-so-subtle—rhythms in your life and how shining a light on them can cause big, positive shifts.

What is that thing you keep putting off until next year? Trying out a new business idea? Planning that dream trip? Diving into a new hobby? Whatever it is, what are you waiting for?
Sometimes the momentum gets rolling faster because we begin, not because the motivation strikes or the timing feels perfect.
So how can you take one step towards beginning?
