As of tomorrow, it’s officially Summer!
I like the feeling of a new season and a new month on the horizon, too. Seasonal and celestial changes are always nice times to check in and reset or reevaluate intentions.
Let’s jump in…

The Sun (reversed)
So fun to see this always-optimistic card on the eve of summer!
The Sun reversed points to a couple of things.
First, any sadness or heaviness you’ve felt lately is only temporary. Instead of feeling sad about being low, try and send love and appreciation to your shadow and the lessons that are there.
We don’t always see the “why” when we’re in the middle of feeling poopy, but it’s always there.
The other good news, is that the Sun reversed is here to remind you to tap into that inner child and have some FUN. Do the simple, fun stuff:
-run through your sprinkler
-draw a picture
-go get ice cream
-head to the beach
-or if you’re still low, make a fort and stay inside with your fave book
Like all energy, if we don’t reinforce and focus on the negative, it will soon pass.

Six of Cups, Reversed
The Six of Cups is all about your inner space. It’s not surprising that the card MOST like the Sun (above) wanted to come up again.
This is a call to reconnect with the simple, light things in life that used to light you up inside.
Perhaps it’s finger painting, or running through the sprinkler, or camping in the yard tonight.
The Six of Cups is an energy of reflection and looking back on the past, but with joy rather than sadness (if there is any).
Make some time to do something simple and fun and silly this week. Or more than once, if you can.

Five of Wands, Reversed
Are you wrestling with conflicting, tense ideas? Or perhaps there’s an external tension or conflict you’re trying to deal with.
The Five of Wands reversed reminds us that we hold the power to shift our experience of crappy feelings, and even crappy situations.
While we can’t make a horrible thing just disappear by changing our vibe (a war, for example), we do hold the power to choose forgiveness, always.
Try letting go and releasing what you can this week.
One effective exercise is to imagine the person or problem surrounded by white, cleansing light and then—when you’re ready—watching the image dissipate like leaves in the wind.
Bless your tension, then let it go.
