I hope you were able to take in some of last night’s spectacular lunar eclipse. I love checking out all of the photos the next day, too.
Energetically, you may feel like there’s a lot going on. Here’s a great synopsis + a few journaling prompts:
Themes for this Super Full Moon Lunar Eclipse:Understanding Scorpio's energy means recognizing its intensity and contradictions.
It want's emotional control.
Notice where you feel passionate or cold…
Powerful or weak…
Independent and expansive or clinging to the past for insights.
Look below the surface of what your mind is telling you is true.
Those contradictions exist for a reason.
Let the light of the Full Moon bring those feelings to the surface.
The key here is to look at the energy that has been bubbling underneath the surface and allowing it to be released in a healthy, expansive way (as opposed to repressing it until there is no other option but to explode- like a petulant child aka Mars)
Some Journaling Prompts:
What emotions am I currently holding onto and allowing take up space?
Am I allowing myself to fully feel them or am I trying to ignore them and hoping they will go away?
What old ideas or ideals am I holding onto that no longer serve my current goals?
Where am I showing up in half-measures (instead of going all in)?
Can I give myself permission to go all in?
Hopefully this gives you something to chew on this week. Make some time to reflect and enjoy the magic that is spring in the northern hemisphere (if you’re here).
Finally, I had a wee link problem with the 1:1 tarot booking last week…but still managed to work it out with a couple of you.
If you’re interested in a 1:1 reading, I’d love to connect!

The Cards:
Helado Negro: Major Arcana
I snagged a copy of this deck at Helado’s show last week here in Minneapolis. If you’re unfamiliar and seeking some beautiful summer music, check them out here! ❤️
Before you scroll down, pick a card above first!
Take your time, breathe, listen to your body, then choose ☀️

The High Priestess
This is the time for you to connect with the sacred knowledge around you. If you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, Mother Nature is everywhere to support you.
Connecting deeply with ancient wisdom can be as simple as sitting and watching ants carry stuff around or birds talking to each other. Maybe your garden grew a whole inch since yesterday, and continues to know exactly what to do.
The lessons are there, always, but now is an excellent time to bring your question into this space and listen.
Be quiet.
You may not get a booming reply (or you might!), but if you open up to receive, you will hear the answer.
two
The Hierophant
Seek out others that you can learn from right now. Maybe it’s a mentorship, class, or coffee with your uncle who knows a lot of stuff.
The Hierophant represents the archetypes of learning, wisdom, traditions and institutions. It is the energy that supports working deeply to develop a skill or understanding.
Perhaps you’ve always wanted to learn how to do something, now is a great time! Or maybe you’re feeling a little lost and stuck moving beyond your current skill set.
Ask this energy for help and the right mentor will find you.

The Devil
The Devil appears when we are deep in our shadow energy, but haven’t really looked at it.
Like all things in the Universe, there is duality. Light & shadow. In you, in me, in that slice of pizza you ate for lunch.
If you’re experiencing particularly dark moments lately, first ask yourself:
“What habits or actions have I been using to avoid addressing this pain?”
These actions and habits are good distractions if you want to avoid your shadow, but by avoiding, the darkness only gets heavier. Instead, try an exercise to regain your natural balance: love your shadow.
Here is a wonderful prayer you can use every day to release some misaligned energy and give your shadow the love it craves. I like to do this in the mirror for extra oomph. This is between YOU and YOU:
I love you.
I’m sorry.
Forgive me.
Thank you.
