Hi friends,
Apologies for the delay, I haven’t forgotten about you!
It’s fascinating to me how certain decks pull at me sometimes. I don’t think I’ve read with this deck (Lumina) since last year, but today it was calling out loud and clear.
I’d forgotten how gorgeous this deck is and am inspired to spend more time with it in the coming weeks to really get to know the messages and energies.
As a reminder, traditional tarot decks have 78 cards, 22 Major arcana, and four suits. Some deck creators play with the suits, but this deck keeps to the traditional swords, pentacles, wands, and cups.
However, this deck also deviates from the Rider Waite most of the time, so it’s a whole new learning curve for me.
I love that—depending on the design—new messages are able to come through that aren’t as present or strong in the classic Rider Waite deck.
On that note, let’s dive in and see what the cards have to say this week.
Cheers,
Natalie

Eight of Pentacles
This is a card of creation, craftsmanship, and skill. It’s a beautiful marker on the creator’s journey.
The Eight of Pentacles suggests that you are gaining mastery around an area of interest or study that you’ve been working at a long time. It might be a professional skill or a hobby, it doesn’t matter.
You’ll know.
You are at a stable place in this part of your journey. This card is asking that you take a deeper look at the work you’ve put in and experience you’ve gained in order to take things a step farther.
This is a kind of honing in on a deeper level to see where it might take you.
Sometimes when we’ve reached a certain level of skill or mastery, we plateau without even realizing it. It’s comfortable, and sometimes enjoyable to coast. And that’s okay.
But now, you’re being called to take things to the next level. Perhaps it’s additional instruction, taking a risk, or reimagining your end goal.
This is an exciting place to be. Enjoy the unfolding.

Ten of Swords
Swords challenge us, and this card marks the end of something. This end is often jarring, painful, and difficult to face. It can be sudden, which means you’ll need to take some time to process what comes up.
Perhaps it’s an illness ending a period of good health, a job falling through, or a betrayal of some kind by someone you care about.
The end of an already challenging journey does have a positive side: there will be a new beginning that you can embrace with newfound wisdom and experience.
Don’t rush this process. Feel all the feelings, rest when possible.
The news of change takes its toll on our bodies and even though you’re looking forward to this phase passing, don’t force anything.
This is happening to serve you, even if it’s difficult to see how or why. Stay the course, have faith in the lessons here and make extra time for self-care.
3
Knight of Wands
Wands are connected to the element of fire. This brings passion, momentum, and confidence. The Knight of Wands in its upright position is a beautiful card with momentum to serve you.
You are on the right track with the choices you’ve been making. Your vision for the next phase of your life is coming together and Source is there to support you.
This is a good time to communicate your desires, the Knight is an excellent communicator. He reminds us to get clear in order to make progress. This may mean communication with others or journaling a plan privately for yourself.
You are on the right track. Tune in more deeply to your inner wisdom. Any hunches or ideas are there to follow at this time.
Embrace the energy that is supporting you right now, get clear, and move forward!
