Hello dear seekers, welcome to Monday and a new, gorgeous deck.
The Field Tarot showed up—as algorithms know how to do best—in my feed. One of my biggest beefs with the classic Tarot imagery is the lack of diversity in many decks. I am drawn to artwork that represents the world I live in, and this deck does that so well. However, not so much for this reading, as the cards aren’t “people” cards.
Today I’m bringing back the dreamy, ocean-like stones that I’m most drawn to. I’ve always had a strong pull to water and the sea, and these stones are like staring into an ocean in the palm of my hand.
Thank you for being here, for looking inward in order to expand and grow, and for supporting this weekly letter.

Four of Swords, reversed
This card is all about taking a minute on your current path to rest.
However, in the reversed position, it indicates a deeper need to nourish yourself due to burn-out and exhaustion. If that resonates, it’s important to carve out some time to rest and recover.
Reversals tend to point to our personal, inward journey. In addition to a physical need to recover, the Four of Swords reversed also points to deep contemplation.
While upright, this might mean discussions with others in order to sort out your thoughts and ideas, the reversal suggests that you go inward.
If this card resonates right now, try these two things as soon as possible:
-rest: nap, sleep in, take a bath, light yoga, meditation, just sitting still
-contemplation: journaling, meditation, sitting still

The Tower, reversed
The Tower is a card of sudden, often uncomfortable, change. In the reversed form, it points to big, inner shifts. You may be in the middle of these changes or just about to embark on this path.
It’s likely to be a time of emotional swings and intense patterns of inner dialogue and thoughts. If you’re feeling tossed around in this process, hang on. The big waves will pass, and your landscape will likely look different. Your inner-landscape, that is.
This might manifest as having to open yourself up to a viewpoint you previously disagreed with, or relinquishing an idea you might’ve stood strongly in support of.
It’s okay to change your mind. It’s part of evolving.
The ego will step in and try to convince you that it’ll be painful or embarrassing to make this shift: “what will others think?”
Your job is to seek a place of peace within the storm of this transition, a place where you are able to welcome this new growth and what doors may open because of it.

The Eight of Cups
What are you running from? Or what is missing?
The Eight of Cups represents walking away from something you perceive isn’t working in pursuit of the solution elsewhere. This might also be read as a feeling like something is missing so you’re driven to seek.
It’s a really great time to look more deeply at this feeling so you can identify what the feeling is, the greater cause. Once you’re able to understand your need to retreat or seek answers elsewhere, then you can take steps toward healing that wound.
Whether it’s an external issue caused by a challenging dynamic or an internal gnawing on a deep level, knowing what the problem is sets you on the path to seeing the solution.
This is a powerful sign to lean into the things that bring you pleasure and joy. When your cup is full, you may see your struggle in a different light. By allowing yourself some fun and enjoyment, the answers you seek will more easily float to the surface.
Don’t give up yet. Or, if you must, move forward not out of desperation but the eagerness that comes from knowing where you must go next.
