The Fountain deck is back! I haven’t used this one much lately, but it’s still a favorite. Links at the bottom to check it out.
Light & Shadow
The important thing to remember when working with light and shadow is that one is not better, they are complimentary.
You wouldn’t know it was daytime if you hadn’t experienced nighttime. Same with feeling sad: you wouldn’t know you were down if you hadn’t felt up before.
These cards work together to help offer guidance to pay attention to.
The first is a shadow card and the second, light.
Think about something you’d like a little extra guidance with this week. Listen to what comes up for you & enjoy ;)

King of Cups reversed & Justice reversed
The King reversed indicates that you are closing yourself off emotionally somehow. You may not realize you’re doing it, but it’s possible you’re coming off as distant or cold.
Are there any relationships or interactions in your life that feel a little off right now?
Perhaps you’ve closed your heart off a bit. And that’s okay. Sometimes recharging and stepping back is useful. But if you’re feeling disconnected from those around you, it might be time to open up a little more and allow some compassion and empathy to take up space.
Justice reversed suggests that you might be reading the situation wrong, or drawing conclusions based on a lack of evidence or understanding.
Are you letting your own assumptions get in the way?
Perhaps you are “right” and the other party is at fault. How can you open your heart, even more, to balance out the tension you feel?
Remember that judgement doesn’t get you very far. Step into a space of curiosity and let go. Stop digging your heels in and instead open up to love.

Three of Coins & Six of Wands
The Three of Coins is a wonderful example of collaboration and putting your know-how to good use. However, in the shadow position, it suggests that you pay attention to areas where you’re disorganized, or perhaps even controlling.
If you’re working with others, it’s important that you actually listen to how they’re feeling, too.
If you’re not sure, ask them!
The Six of Wands is here to remind you that you CAN make this work. Whatever it is that you’re bumping up against, it’s something you will figure out.
Both of these cards signify an excellent time to collaborate and co-create with other people. Stay positive, practice listening to others, and let the momentum carry you forward.

The Sun reversed & the Magician reversed
Now is the time to identify and work through something you’ve been carrying with you a very long time. These energies are not ephemeral, fleeting, or new. You are being called to look inward at a consistent pattern of thought that isn’t serving you.
This one isn’t about others, it’s all about your relationship with yourself.
Where in your life do you feel isolated? Disconnected? Completely alone?
It’s important to recognize that while these feelings are valid, you have the power to shift things. It is within you to change how you feel.
The first step is noticing when disconnection and isolation come up for you. Make a note of it. Journal. Ask yourself why you might be feeling this way, and try to remove blaming others and outside events that are out of your control.
Next, what can you control?
The Magician reversed also acknowledges disconnection and apathy. But he also understands that the power to create worlds is within all of us.
What did you identify that you can control?
The Magician asks you to put energy in those places at this time. When you feel disconnected, turn inward and connect with your divine power to choose a better feeling experience. Rinse and repeat and you’ll begin supporting entirely new and productive patterns of thought.
