đ Itâs MABON!
TRY THE MABON TAROT QUESTđ
Mabon is a modern Wiccan and neo-pagan festival celebrating the Autumnal Equinox, marking the time of equal day and night as the seasons shift from summer to fall. It symbolizes balance, gratitude for the second harvest, and a period for introspection and preparing for the inward-turning energies of the coming darker months.
If you havenât yet, take whatever issue or problem youâre working through to the Mabon Tarot Quest!
Before You Begin
Find a quiet space where you can really settle in with your thoughts. Quests typically take 20-30 minutes, or longer if youâre a verbose writer.
Bring along a grimoire or notebookâwriting things down will help you explore more deeply as you move through this.
Take a moment to think about a problem or question you want guidance on.
Hold it in your mind as you move forward, and get ready to uncover whatâs waiting for youâŚ
TODAYâS READING: THE CARDS
deck: Moon Witch Tarot
Hello everyone, welcome to another Path reading and welcome Mabon! đ
I have come to really love the equinoxes as reminders to listen to the slow turn of the Earth. Itâs amazing how quickly everything that bursts out of the trees and ground will soon wither and decompose.
I like this reminder of mortality.
Itâs as beautiful as it is bittersweet, and it always helps me to slow down and be present.
So, for todayâs collective reading, Iâll be looking through a Mabon-themed lens.
As always, take a moment to think about something you might want some guidance around, grab a cup of something, and enjoy.
xo,
Natalie

The Path | Mabon-style
Where you are right now | Knight of Wands
Look like youâll be stepping into this season with fire in your heart.
The Knight of Wands carries passion, movement, and the drive to make things happen.
As Mabon marks balance between light and dark, this card reminds you to harness your fire with intention: let your energy carry you forward, but not burn you out.
If you feel burnout approaching (or perhaps youâre already there), this is a good time to turn your attention toward ways to ease your output. Schedule in some rest.
The threshold | Ace of Swords
The equinox is a threshold itself, and here it arrives as clarity. The Ace of Swords cuts cleanly and always points to a break in the fog of indecision or which way to go next.
This is the season to see whatâs true, name it, and let the rest fall away.
What truth do you need to carry into the darker half of the year?
What you will encounter | Page of Pentacles, rx
As the harvest comes in, you may notice where learning or practice feels incomplete.
The Page reversed is the reminder that growth is ongoing. One day at a time. If youâre not able to stick to your intentions, consider making smaller, easy to hit goals.
Mabon says: tend to what still needs patience, refinement, or replanting. Not every seed will fruit this season, and thatâs okay.
What lies ahead | Ace of Pentacles
A new seed appears even as the fields turn: the Ace of Pentacles is opportunity, a grounded beginning.
This is the gift of Mabon: endings and harvests always open the ground for the next planting.
What you choose to nurture now could flourish in the year ahead.
Guides | Ten of Cups + Knight of Pentacles
Your guides for this season are joy and steadiness. Thatâs something.
The Ten of Cups reminds you that harvest is not just material, but emotional: family, friends, community, and the small, shared joys of belonging.
The Knight of Pentacles calls you to keep showing up with steady, grounded effort, honoring the rhythm of the seasons rather than rushing against them.
In other words, slow down and enjoy yourself and the people you love.
Summary
This equinox invites you to balance fire and clarity with patience and steadiness. Step boldly into the season (Knight of Wands), but let truth guide you (Ace of Swords). Honor the lessons still unfolding (Page of Pentacles rx), and welcome the new seed being offered (Ace of Pentacles).
Your guides remind you: true abundance is found in both steady work and shared joy.
