There are always a couple of decks that like to sit around for a few months or years until the vibe is right.
Today’s deck is one of them.
I’m not sure what draws me to certain decks some days and others the next. I definitely have my go-to faves (RWS classic, Pagan Otherworlds, Tazama), but it’s nice to switch it up if I have more time to dig into the card meanings and get acquainted with the cards.
This deck was a gift I won at the
meet-up last year. I love a good raffle drawing. The deck came in a little silk bag without a book, so I ordered the book and glad I did. It’s full of lovely descriptions and images of the cards (full color and everything).
So, what kind of energy would you like to work with this week, dear spellcaster?
We’re all spellcasters, aren’t we? I mean
says it in her title. And I’d like to think it’s true.If you dig thinking more about this idea of words and their power, check out my exploration of expletives and gods in a recent piece of writing, something new I’m doing just to get the ideas bouncing around in my head out into the world.
Onto the cards then…have a beautiful week,
Natalie

The World, rx
The energy you’re working with may feel incomplete or like something essential is just beyond your reach.
This month, you may feel like you’re close to finishing something important, but a sense of doubt lingers. Consider if there’s something unresolved or if your energy is too scattered to achieve the closure you seek. Sometimes, we need to step back and recalibrate before moving forward.
Ask yourself what’s holding you back from fully embodying the changes you’re after.
Are you clinging to past expectations or struggling to let go of old stories?
This is an invitation to refine your focus and to give attention to the parts of your energy that may feel “left behind.”
two
Queen of Wands, rx
The energy you’re weaving with may feel muted or lacking its usual spark.
This card suggests that you might be doubting your creative power, or perhaps you’re feeling uninspired and unsure of how to express yourself.
There’s a quieter, more introspective energy here—one that asks you to look inward and find what truly ignites your inner fire.
This Queen reversed asks you to reconnect with what makes you passionate, without worrying about how it looks to others.
Use this time to explore the depths of your creativity without the need for external validation.
three
Two of Wands, rx
The Two of Wands reversed speaks to energy that feels hesitant or uncertain, as if you’re standing at a crossroads without clarity on which path to choose.
Rather than feeling empowered, you may feel overwhelmed or unsure of where to direct your intentions. This reversal suggests that there’s potential within you that hasn’t been fully tapped yet.
Perhaps you’re holding back due to fear of the unknown or reluctance to commit to a single vision.
This card invites you to clarify your desires and focus on one direction rather than spreading your energy thinly.
Are you hesitating to step into something new?
It’s time to trust in your ability to navigate unfamiliar territory.
Loved this. Thank you.
