Hey friends,
Fair warning: this spread is beautiful, but it packs a punch.
All I ask is that you notice what comes up for you after you pick your card.
Resistance?
Acceptance?
Something else?
xo,
Natalie

Have you noticed that when you look at where you are and assess your life, you tend to be hard on yourself?
Even if you practice mindfulness or gratitude regularly, those nit-picky thoughts still find a way through—undetected—every so often.
Be kind to yourself.
Give yourself some grace for the good and the bad.
You’re human, after all.
This is a message to notice the story you’re telling yourself about your life, and your choices, and where you’re at, and where you’re going.
Is it a forgiving story? A harsh one?
Set the tone for great things.
Notice that negative, critical voice and kindly ask it to leave next time.
“You are the average of the five stories you tell yourself the most.” -James Clear

Do you find yourself in a space of feeling low more than you feel good? Are you a champion of negative thoughts?
Not sure?
Take an hour and try to be as intentionally mindful as you can. Notice what thoughts flit in and out, and how many of them praise your body, mind, soul, and world, and how many of them condemn these things.
Even in the worst of times, you have tremendous power to move from a low place to a higher one. Step by step, it’s about taking your own hand and stepping into the light.
Once you get a handle on your thoughts, write some of them down. Then, slowly and with practice, replace them with new thoughts.
If you can’t think of something great about yourself right away, focus on something you love like that beautiful flower or cute neighbor’s dog. Whatever.
You are more powerful than you could ever know.
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”

Momentum is an interesting energy. Sometimes life flows and we create beautiful things, have fun, rest well…things just come together in a magic, aligned way.
If you’re like, “Yeah, not me these days,” consider this:
Say “yes” to the next thing you’re in the habit or excuse of saying “no” to.
In fact, notice your “no” wanting to shout from the rooftops and, instead, ask it why?
The stuck energy you’re feeling right now can be urged to flow again just by getting out there and doing something new or having a great conversation with someone you love or spending a day in nature without your phone.
The first step is the hardest, but momentum has a funny way of building on itself.
The thing is, dear reader, you have to seek it out. It won’t just come looking for you.
So get out there for that hike or dinner date or class you want to take.
You’ll feel ever so much better when you do.
